What’s been happening:

It has been approximately 3 years since I walked across the platform and received my degree in IST. My thoughts at that time were premature in understanding the benefits of my educational decisions. Through the depth of instruction that I received, I was able to transition into the workforce relatively effortlessly. It has allowed me to excel with increased responsibility in an earlier stage of my professional career. I now realize the magnitude of that decision via the opportunities I have been afforded. An added benefit has been the personal and professional relationships that have been developed; and to my elation those relationships have paid off significantly. Many of the professionals that I have encountered in the 2+ years of my professional career have had ties as an alumni or are parents or friends an of alumnus. I find we share one common theme in our commitment of academic excellence through the phrase, "We Are Penn State". Working in the IT community as well as being educated through Penn State has tremendously improved my experiences in my personal life and my professional career as an Information System Security Analyst.
